“Leaving no one behind”.On the morning of March 21, the SDWP organized more than 20 volunteers to enter the community to carry out public welfare promotion campaign on the theme of "World Water Day" and "China Water Week".
At the site of activity，SDWP volunteers publicized the tips of life water saving, urban drinking water safety, harmonious development of human and water, water policies and regulations, river management and protection, sewage treatment and other knowledge through establishing water knowledge consulting desk, displaying propaganda exhibition boards, distributing propaganda color pages and other means. At the same time, we have showed the achievements of SDWP in water conservancy construction in the past 60 years.
"We have been carrying out promotion campaigns on water conservation and public welfare for four consecutive years and will continue to do it." The activity Leader said，"SDWP has been established for more than 60 years. Especially since joining Shuifa group and under its strong leadership, SDWP has actively participated in the construction of national water resources and have completed several hundred water conservancy projects serving the people's livelihood, such as the South-to-North Water Transfer Line, the first phase of Yellow Water East Transfer, Taihu Lake ecological control, etc. Including ecological silt clearance, river arrangement, water source construction, water supply engineering, sewage treatment, dam reinforcement and so on. SDWP’s people have a special feeling for water. They also hope that through volunteer publicity activities, they can enhance the public awareness of water conservation and guide the citizens to develop the habit of water saving, water love and scientific water use, and make more people become disseminators and practitioners of water conservation and water environment protection.
